Blister Packaging Development Process

The process below gives you a better idea of what to expect from project commencement to the final delivery of your blister packaging

1. Project Meeting

    • Email, conference call, or in-person meeting to review:
    • Review Product
    • Existing Blister pack/New Blister pack
    • Card Dimensions
    • Special Features
    • Competitor overview (Client to provide, this will give us input as to how we can differentiate your product on shelf)

2. Prototype Stage

    • Customer submits the product sample and purchase order
    • Design, machine and form prototype
    • Fit product and prototype with customer, receives approval and purchase order
    • Blister card die-line is completed and delivered to customer for artwork and approval

3. Final Mould Stage

    • Signed Approval from customer received and final purchase order
    • Final aluminium mould is manufactured
    • Cutting die is manufactured
    • Sealing die or Welding die is manufactured

4. Production & Fulfillment

  • Final Blister Order scheduled for production
  • Blister cards produced and packed for shipment
  • Collection of product from Customer
  • Blisters, cards, and heat-seal tooling received at Berry Pack for final packing assembly
  • Labelled, packed and ready for delivery to Customer

Design, Development & In-house Sampling

Berry Pack has a team ready to design the ideal blister or food packaging concept for your product. Full in-house prototyping, mould making capabilities using the latest CNC machinery and design programs will set your new and existing packaging apart from your competitors. Our aim is to provide the best packaging solution and design concept, which is often the most critical step to the overall packaging project.

Once the design is done our team will manufacture a prototype to ensure that you are happy with the overall design and fit around your product prior to the final mould making stage. Our one-stop shop process gets you from design to delivery in 3-6 weeks.
